Happy Fluttershy Friday!!! (#134, 135, 136 & 137, PLUS BONUS FLUTTERSHY!!)

Hello my fellow readers! It's been a while since I have posted about my Fluttershy collection. Mostly because I have been working to get a huge Fluttershy I found on FB, but I had to slowly pay it off. I'll show that piece when it arrives, but in the meantime, I have a few new Fluttershy pieces, including a Fluttershy that I already had but I updated!

First up, my newest Fluttershy ponies: we have one from the Cutie Mark Crew macaroon set, the larger Fluttershy from the movie set of the Mane 6, another which is a glittery mini that you can find at random stores (seriously, I saw several at Stop & Shop), and lastly, I caved and got myself the new creepy looking G5. It's not as bad as I thought, but I don't understand the hooves.

Lastly, I took an older Zilla Fluttershy I had and decided to make it into a Fluttershy from the season finale. It didn't take much to do, although I did have to style the hair a bit, and add the lines under her eyes. I actually might do an older Fluttershy and Discord silhouette design soon, since we have confirmation of THAT ship in the show!

Happy Self-Promotion Sunday, CON NEWS!!!!

Happy SPS y'all! This girl has got some EXCITING news: I AM GOING TO TROTCON!!!!

That's right, the next big convention on the (somewhat) eastern coast since BronyCon has closed it's doors has accepted this girl RIGHT HERE to make the trek to Ohio and vend from July 17th to the 19th!! I cannot TELL YOU how PUMPED I am!!! This does mean I am going to have to start pumping out some more pony designs in the next few weeks, especially since this con sold out of rooms not once, but like THREE TIMES! Not only that, but they had to turn down 2/3 of the vendor applicants!! THIS IS MASSIVE PEOPLE!!

Needless to say, I cannot express my gratitude enough that I am one of the chosen few to get in.

I've started doing some more variants of my yin-yang minimalist pony designs at the urging of some of my vendor friends, the big ones being the princesses, along with their evil counterparts. I am working on a Nightmare Moon vs. Nightmarity variant as well, along with an Octavia/DJ Pon-3, and since Tabitha St. German will be there (she is the voice actress of both Rarity and Princess Luna) I have a yin-yang variant of that in the works too.

I am also doing a variant of this design focusing on one face, to make a clown version of Zecora, the zebra character from the show. There is a reason for this: since this year's theme for TrotCon is circus/carnival theme, the running joke has become the Afro Circus gif from Madagascar and since that was a zebra doing it, how could I resist making one using the zebra character from MLP?

All these designs will go up on my Redbubble and my TeePublic space soon, just need to find the time to sit down and do them! So keep an eye out for all that!!!

Movie Review Monday: GENTLEMEN, grab your guns!

Ladies and gentlemen we are one day after the Oscars, and I won't comment on anything in order to avoid any controversy. However, I spent Sunday going to the movies, avoiding the new Harley Quinn movie. I have nothing against Margot Robbie, but usually I see a DC logo and I cringe. To be honest, I am worrying already over the new Wonder Woman movie, with Chris Pines reviving a dead character (I DEMAND AN EXPLANATION!)

Anyway, yesterday I saw the new Guy Ritchie film, "The Gentlemen" and boy, did this movie stun me. Now, my experience with Guy Ritchie films is limited to seeing both Sherlock films and the King Arthur film. I refused to see 'Aladdin' (the villain looked weak), and while I do know of his other films, they just never came off as something I cared to see. Nevertheless, when I saw the previews for this, I was intrigued. And I was NOT disappointed! So let's grab a Scotch, and listen to the review!

"The Gentlemen" (Director: Guy Ritchie)

Upon sitting down, I was expecting a very gangster type of film, something that I can only assume had the feel of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" but still had the cinema feel that made everyone love "Sherlock Holmes" and "Game of Shadows." And it definitely had that feel to it. It actually reminded me quite a bit of "Kingsmen" to be honest, with some of the mobsters being "gentrified" and proper, including Matthew McConaughey's character, Mickey, who plays the American who went to Oxford and dropped out to sell weed. He's looking to get out of the game, so he can spend more time with his wife, played SPECTACULARLY by Michelle Dockery. However, this sets off a whole slew of a chain of events, that include a raid on one of Mickey's farms, and the death of another drug lord.

During this entire film, it's technically being narrated by flamboyant reporter Fletcher (played by Hugh Grant who sounded like he was trying to channel Michael Cain with his accent) to Charlie Hunnam's character, Raymond, who is basically Mickey's right-hand man in everything.

And for real, I LOVED Raymond in this movie, he became my favorite character throughout this entire film. I was genuinely reminded of my boyfriend in certain instances--not like my boyfriend would go around and DO any of those things, but just like the extremes I saw and the attitude given off by Raymond, all I could think of was my boyfriend. It was insane! I don't want to give much more away, but I know this film will be out of theaters soon, so GO SEE IT BEFORE IT LEAVES THE THEATERS!

Happy Self-Promotion Sunday

Hello to all my fellow readers! I hope the new year is treating everyone right, and you are ready for the upcoming con season. For all my fans, con season is fast approaching, and I cannot wait for a new round of cons. There will be some old stand bys, some cons I cannot make due to confluct (I'M SORRY UNDISCOVERED!!!!) and some new cons this year too! I am super excited for everything and cannot wait to start selling. Here's the Con List so far for 2020:

CT GamerCon: March 21-22
IncrediCon: March 28-29
Hudson Valley CC: May 9-10
ConnetiCon: July 9-12
TrotCon: July 17-19 (Pending)
TerrifiCon: August 14-16
Retro World Expo: September 19-20

Now, on to some new stuff. I am working on a few sculptures as well as a commission, but the cold weather prevents me from finishing a lot of stuff. Thankfully, I have a few days off coming up that I can finish a few pieces and do some touch ups. And right now, it's lots of Pokemon stuff right now as I gear up for CTGamer Con.

First up, better pictures of my newest Eevelutions, Flareon and Sylveon. I won't be putting these up on Etsy because I want to see how these go over at CTGamer before I put them on Etsy. I am also working on a normal Eevee as well.

Next up, Galarian Ponyta! These girls still require some detail work, but I cannot wait to put them up! I will keep one girl for CTGamer, an the other will go up on Etsy once done.

Lastly, Pokemon trainer Nessa! Her hair gave me issues, but I am liking how she is coming out. I still need to to her Pokeball and her stand, among a few other details, but I love how she's coming out. I want to do a Melony at some point once I get her done.

Self-Promotion Sunday AUNTIE STYLE!

Hey readers, I got BIG news! I am an AUNTIE!! Yes, I am an auntie, first time for me, to a lovely little nephew, and I do mean LITTLE! My little Baby Benji is only 6lbs! He's a shrimp! But he's a kicker! He's either going to be a runner or a soccer player, for real! But I am just super excited!

Anyway, in the meantime, I have a bunch of new pieces up on my Etsy page, including a bunch of new keychains. You can check out my new keychain video here:

I also have a few new papercraft designs, thanks to my friend Samoht Lion. It's hard for me to do more than digital designs in the winter time because my skin starts to crack, especially on my fingers, no matter how much I try to keep them moisturized. Especially the thumbs. I am not sure what it is, but I always have cracked thumbs. So in the meantime, though, check out the latest papercrafts, which include a design of Sunset Shimmer as an alicorn (a design that inspired me to make it as a digital piece), and a Nightmare Night piece, which includes glow in the dark paper. Below the papercrafts are the digital designs that the Sunset Shimmer inspired:
