WIPW

Happy Work In Progress Wednesday or WIPW! This is a day I give you an update on all that I am currently working on in terms of projects. Sundays I will show what I have completed and am ready to post!

This week, I've got at least 3 projects on my plate: Dragonite, Amalthea, and Raven. I've been slowly breaking out of just doing My Little Pony figurines and trying to do some new stuff. It's been slow moving over to new things, but I've done it before when I first started out. Made a Weeping Angel from Doctor Who (one day I will get back to doing those despite their creepiness) and while I've vowed to never really do dolls again, I keep coming up with interesting ideas. If I do well with sales at FanFaire, my plan is to get a Catty Noir bait doll and make a Felicia from Dark Stalkers.

Anyway, I digress. So, as I said, this week, my focus is Dragonite, Amalthea and Raven. Dragonite might prove to be the easiest to do once I get the clay on him in certain places and prime him.

On the other hand, Amalthea and Raven both need their faces done. I may end up doing that during the Super Bowl on Sunday--sorry, but I have no love for either team.

Fluttershy: the Road to 100

Oh my god, this is becoming a reality! After years of collecting, I am in the process of getting closer to the goal of 100 Fluttershy figurines! This is insane!

For those of you who cannot tell, Fluttershy has been my favorite character of the new MLP series since I began watching it. I could completely relate to this character, often shy and quiet and not wanting to cause trouble. But as her character developed, she grew into a sense of independence and while still wanting to show kindness and please others, she no longer gets trampled on. Definitely could relate.

So ever since then, I have fallen in love with this character, even her alternate version of Flutterbat. I would like more development of her in the Equestria Girls series, so hopefully that happens soon. Anyway, since then, I have been collecting Fluttershy figurines and plushies. Some have been customs, some commissions, some from the main line of toys. But now, I hit 85, and I want the next few to be special. I have been contacting some of my favorite customizers who I have been friends with and gotten customs from before to help me out with this. So, hold tight, everyone! This is going to be a doozy!

Con Season

OK! So, Conventions are coming up, and if you want to know where I will be, you can check out the list below. I am trying to get to more conventions this year than before, but due to health reasons, I can only go so far. But below is the list I will be attending:
