Flutters #95 & 96

Last week, and already this week, have been bad weeks for me thus far. Very little has been able to perk me up, so when pony mail comes, it definitely is a bright spot in my life. This week, we have the next Flutters in our group coming from my friend Nicole, owner of Soulcookies Co., or Tiella Nicole on Etsy. She has done some wonderful customs for me in the past, such as some lovely custom Snowdrops, and some of my Flutters that have come from her include a filly Fluttershy, and a G1 mermaid baby Fluttershy. Now, I have this lovely custom Flutterbat, done with one of the new EG style dolls, that has magnetic wings, and a sassy look to her. I also have a great little alicorn Fluttershy to add to my collection who looks absolutely stunning with the glitter resin. I could not be happier! The collection grows!

Fluttershys 92, 93, and 94: Fluffles Edition

Oh my goodness, it's getting so close!!! I have been getting some LOVELY pieces from my fellow customizers, and I can only hope that people will buy from these wonderful artists in the future! So now, this time, we have the Fluffle Fluttershys!

So, for those of you not in the fandom, Fluffle Puff was a fan made creation by Mixermike622, who was the original inventor of the race of Fluffy ponies. In common portrayals, fluffy ponies stand out from normal ponies by their smaller size and thicker fur. They are depicted in many different ways; the variety being their size, which can vary from a few inches to as much as four feet, and their thickness of fur, which can vary from leaving the neck exposed to as much as the only parts visible being the ends of the hooves and the face. Fluffy ponies are explained as having been bred for maximum cuteness and fluffiness.

I myself have made fluffy ponies before, but they can be hard work. But for my friend Nicole, they have become something so much more and I love them! She has made me an epic Fluffle custom before of a Maleficent Fluffle, which is just stunning. I asked her to make me three different Fluffle Fluttershys: a normal one, a rainbow powered one and a Flutterbat one. And oh my goodness, how cute they are!!! Here they are in all their glory, as well as in their current locations within the army!

Hudson Valley CC Recap and Con Update!

So, just finished up with Hudson Valley CC. This was my second time selling for them, and I could not have been happier. It was a different set-up than I remember, which was to everyone's advantage, I think. I got a fair amount of foot traffic, and definitely made back table and then some. So that was a good day.

I also was able to meet the 2nd Red Power Ranger, Steve Cardenas, which I was happy about. I gave him a copy of my Red Ranger print, and he signed another copy of it for free. That will go in my frame of autographs!

Now, onto the updated Con List:
ValleyCon: May 5th and 6th
Newburgh Library Comic Convention: June 30th
Lock City ComicCon: July 28th
Tiny Paws Con: August 17th to 19th

Still waiting to hear on:
DerpyCon
BronyCon
Anime NYC

INTERVIEW!!!

I just had a major interview with a Podcast! I got to talking to someone wandering around CT GamerCon and was asked to do a Podcast interview. It just got posted, and while it's somewhat candid, I am very happy to share it with you!

Check it out: Episode 46: Trot L’Oeil Interview

Fluttershy #91

NEWEST FLUTTERSHY UPDATE!!! So, not sure how many of you have seen some of my customs, but there has been one customizer who has made some stunning designs before and he really needs some recognition for his work.

This lovely new Rainbow Power Fluttershy is now a part of the collection. Felix has made for me Flutterbats, Fluttershys, even a Breezie Fluttershy, and now, I have this beauty. Isn't she stunning? And she fits right in with the rest of the collection! The best part is she comes with a lovely certificate of authenticity! I need to take notes from this guy about this, cause I always am worried about signing my work!

Been Too Long! Con Update

Oh my goodness, I got too behind in stuff and have been forgetting to post, for which I apologize! So, let me give a quick rundown:

GamerCon was not a washout, but not an insane success. However, I did land a podcast interview, which I will post about as soon as I get the link. I've also been working on many new figurines to bring to the next con, which will be Hudson Valley ComicCon. If you haven't heard of this, and want a good local con in the New York area, check it out: https://www.hvcomiccon.com/

I will be posting some pics later of some of the new figurines I have just finished. Can't wait to show you all! And make sure you check me out at the following upcoming cons!:

April 21-22: Hudson Valley ComicCon

May 5-6: ValleyCon

July 28: Lock City ComicCon

August 17-19: Tiny Paws Con

The other cons I have applied for (BronyCon, DerpyCon) are pending. So I am quite hopeful!

Fluttershy 90 pt. 2

Fluttershy number 90 is done! Oh my gosh, this hype is real!!! So, this Fluttershy is a custom I designed. I rarely keep my own customs, as I am one of those types of artists that often hates their own work. I currently have only three of my own customs: a G3 pegasus meant to be a winter to spring looking pony; my OC, Trot L'Oeil; and my Alicorn OC (yes I have one of those) named Princess Votia, the Princess of Wishes.

This Fluttershy is an alicorn Fluttershy. I have found these sort of fakie looking alicorn Mane 6 ponies over time on eBay, and I have been wanting to get one for myself. When it arrived, it looked a little sad, so I wanted to update her. So, here's what I did with this little pony:

First, I cleaned up the body and redid the cutie mark, one on each side. I did a base color on her shoes before going over it with a metallic green paint color. I used the same green to do highlights in her wings and over her collar and crown. I found a tiny little butterfly crystal that I used on her collar, and I found a cool simulated green opal that I used on her crown. I also styled her hair, and used a little product to keep the style going. Her biggest issue is still wanting to tip over (her body is a bit crooked), but I did try to form the body a bit with boiling water and tin foil.

Now, she is a part of the army!

Happy Fluttershy Friday! I'M MOVING!!! (Also, #154, 155, 156, and 157!!!)

OK, so first and foremost, SO SORRY for not a lot of posts. Creative burnout is real, as well as some BIG news... I AM MOVING INTO MY OWN H...
